“The Texas Liberators” features 21 stories from veteran liberators. The book chronicles their time in concentration camps. It even speaks of their interactions with prisoners. According to Dr. Frank Kasman who is a volunteer with the Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission Texas soldiers liberated 57 of the concentration camps formed under the Nazi regime. Two of the liberators are Midlanders!
