The Board of Directors for the HOA of the Greathouse subdivision in the northwestern corner of Midland, Texas voted to raise the annual dues by $50 each year. This modest increase in dues was approved in order to fund the increased expense and maintenance of the addition of a second swimming pool and to help fund the addition of another section in the subdivision’s northern area.

The subdivision consists of a few hundred gorgeous homes and boasts a strong community ambiance. This growing neighborhood is an excellent place to live.

The community pool currently lists pool hours, with specific early morning and late evening hours designated for adult swimmers only. The existing pool remains open to the public on all days except Mondays, when the pool area is cleaned weekly. The pool area requires a keycard for entrance. All children under 12 are required to be accompanied by an adult. Each family is welcome to invite four guests with them in the pool area. This helps build a community feel and eliminates the risks of overcrowding at the pool.

Homeowners in the Greathouse subdivision enjoy social events and a strong sense of community. The HOA is the governing body responsible to ensuring that bylaws and association covenants are maintained. Residents have access to a clubhouse which can be rented by members at a greatly reduced rate.

All homes in the Greathouse subdivision consist of at least 2,000 square feet and have a minimum of 1,200 square feet of livable space on the ground floor. There are no duplexes or multifamily units. Each residence is for single-family use.

Garages are either detached or attached to the homes, but each garage must be at least a two-car garage. This helps keep the driveways and roads both beautiful and serene.
