If you have little ones interested in a fun Easter egg hunt this week, keep in mind that Midland Parks and Recreation Division set the Easter Egg Eggstravaganza for this Thursday! That’s right, March 29 at 6:00 PM, the city’s little ones are invited to a huge egg hunt. The egg hunt lasts for two hours, but it’s divided into age groups. Kids under three-years-old start at 6:00 PM. There are five age groups in total. The other age groups are as follows: Children four or five-years old, children six, seven or eight-years old, children nine or ten years old, and children ages eleven and twelve years old.

The Easter Egg Eggstravaganza takes place at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The park is located at 1415 E. Scharbauer in Midland. There is no charge for participating in the Easter Egg Eggstravaganza.

Did you know that the  Parks and Recreation Division of the City of Midland participates and hosts numerous events every year? It maintains 31 neighborhood parks, four community parks, four specialty parks, one regional park and one metropolitan park. In all, the division maintains 1,172 acres. This is in addition to the 23,000 square foot Martin Luther King Jr Community Center!
