Freebirds World Burrito officially opened their doors today, adding Midland to their restaurants in other cities in Texas, Oklahoma and California.

Their menu consists of fresh burritos made of quality ingrediants, you’ll have to try it yourself!

Located at 3322 N Loop 250 West, Freebirds was open Sunday and Monday for charity events in which it raised more than $3,500 for area nonprofits by offering free food to those who donated at least $5.  Regional Manager Gus Carbonell said $2,500 was raised on Sunday for Habitat for Humanity and about $1,029 on Monday for the American Red Cross of Southwest Texas.  “We always pay forward to the community,” he said, adding staff also has, and will continue to be involved with Habitat for the remainder of the year.

In addition their charitable help, Freebirds also gifted their first 25 customers, who camped outside Freebirds last night, some in tents, today free burritos for a year!  Click here to take a look at their menu, you can even order online to bypass the line!
