Our downtown farmers market has more than heart; its slathered in homemade, local honey. Every Saturday morning our neighbors congregate downtown Midland with their freshest produce, locally raised meats, baked goods, honey homemade salsas, hand-knitted goods, and lots more. Most of the vendors believe in cutting out the middle-man and bring the products straight from the farm.

Matthew Hanson is the organizer of this community market, Midland Downtown Farmers Market is his “child” and feels like we all play a part in its fruition. After a first time visit, I absolutely love it and go back every time I am free on Saturdays. The first time I went  there was so much to choose from. I got a lot of fresh produce, and baby hair bows.

The Midland Downtown Farmers Market is open and operating every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1p.m., April – November, on the corner of Texas and Pecos street.

You should check out the market this Saturday!

God Bless!
